Enjoy an adventure in the trees in African Tree House! This treehouse sleeps 6 people. It comes complete with swinging bridges, and a ladder leading up to the loft area where the sleeping quarters are. This is for the brave and more adventurous family!

The loft area has two sleeping areas, one area has a queen sized bed and the other area has has twin sized bunk beds. The treehouse can sleep 6 people.

The main area of the African Treehouse features a kitchen, and dining area. There is also a living room with Samsung Smart TV/DVD player and a full bathroom!

Outside you will find a swinging bridge that leads you to a grass roof hut area with a picnic table! This is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee, or a snack with the family!  There is also a private deck located out back, perfect for stargazing.

The grounds at Branson Treehouse Adventures, feels much more like a campground then a resort. There is a playground, basketball court, volleyball net, and swimming pool . The pool is open Memorial Day To Labor Day.

For many people in the Midwest, the winter months are brutally cold, and I wouldn’t blame you for a minute if you choose to stay indoors all winter long. However, if you love the outdoors as much as I do, than maybe a horse drawn sleigh ride is just the thing you need to beat the winter blues! Jester Park Equestrian Center is the go to place for horseback riding in Iowa, and the Equestrian Center is a wonderful place to visit anytime of year. However, during the winter months the center transforms into a winter wonderland!

The winter holiday rides will be either a sleigh ride or wagon ride depending on weather conditions. The sleigh requires a minimum of 4-6″ of packed snow to operate.

Rides will be available every half hour from 10am-11:30am and 1pm-3:30pm from early December through Mid-February. The sleigh can accommodate up to 7 adults. Children are welcome and small children may sit on an adult’s lap if needed for space.

Trail rides last between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on the trails condition. All sleigh rides take place in the beautiful winding hills of Jester Park in Granger Iowa.

Clear Creek Cabin is located in the scenic Driftless Area of Northeast Iowain the city of Decorah. The area is a dream come true for outdoor enthusiasts! As you walk out the doors of the secluded cabin you will find a spring-fed, one acre pond. Complete with bluegill, bass and catfish. There is also 70 feet of white sand beach. Hike 100 yards and you will find 3.2 miles of the Clear Creek trout stream. If you enjoy hiking or hunting, the cabin is adjacent to 800 acres of public hunting land. And that is just the outdoors.

Clear Creek Cabin boasts 2,700 sq ft of cozy hardwood excellence. The rustic good looks of the original cabin that was built in 1873 (with another log frame addition in 1885 and a modern addition in 2000) is combined with all the modern amenities you would want.

Start your relaxing stay with a full, restful night of sleep in one of the 5 bedrooms. Choose from a king pillow top, queen, full or one of four twin XL beds or twin bunk bed. There is a plush-top futon in the balcony/den and another in an upstairs bedroom. There is even a crib for your infant.

A modern heat and air conditioning system will keep you at the right temperature as you wake up. Next you may find a hot shower or a soak in the tub is in order. Choose from one of the three full baths; one with a shower, one with a shower/tub and another with a shower/tub. Don’t forget to drop your bath towel in the towel warmer so it is ready when you get out!

The smell of a hot cup of coffee or tea (or maybe even a “lumberjack” breakfast) are easily in the realm of possibilities for the full kitchen. It has all of the large and small appliances you will need during your stay. There is a full set or dishes and utensils and even a charcoal grill on the flagstone patio outside the back door.

Enjoy your meals on the porch or at the picnic table overlooking the pond or in the large dining room. With seating for 10 at the reclaimed lumber (that my Great-Grandfather milled many years ago) dining room table, there is sure to be ample space for all.

Relax in the living room with reclining seating for 10 guests. This room has a 55 inch SMART TV, DVD and VHS players, and a console with connection to all your favorites on Netflix or YouTube. You may also enjoy complimentary high speed, fiber optic Wi-Fi for your mobile devices and Wi-Fi enabled phone calls.
